About
How I got here, what I work with, and where I studied.
I came into data engineering through network operations, and it shaped how I work. Before I built pipelines, I watched them: monitoring KPIs and alarms across live infrastructure at ZTE Rwanda, learning to read a system's vital signs before it failed. That instinct still shows up in how I build: pipelines that degrade gracefully, and infrastructure that tells you when something's wrong before a user does.
I'm currently completing an MSc in Big Data Analytics at the Adventist University of Central Africa, working with Spark, Kafka, and HDFS on problems specific to African markets: agri-food supply chains, logistics, and fintech.
Bilingual in English and French. Football, hiking, and running when I'm not at a keyboard.
